Constitutionalism has been a primary focus of the Institute since its establishment in 2003. The Lost Constituion is a follow-up to the two earlier volumes And What About the Constitution? (2004) and The Republic Under Threat (2009). It is a compilation of papers in which the Institute investigated the dismantling of the rule of law from month to month for a whole year and it also contains the edited presentations of the conference Two Constitutions (1989-2001) held on March 2011 at the Open Society Archives.
