In July 2010 the three NGOs above assessed the method and pace of the legislative work of the newly elected Hungarian Parliament, and voiced their criticisms regarding the provisions deemed as violating the principle of the rule of law.
In their recent analysis the NGOs focus on the elements of the system of checks and balances which were eliminated or significantly weakened by the decisions of the Government. Unconstitutional legislative changes, adopted since September, are also addressed.
